Stats, survey results and a final round up of WCEU 2018

Our satellites have been orbiting and we can finally share the WCEU 2018 attendee observations that we collected in our survey.

We could tell from your smiling faces that you were enjoying WordCamp Europe. Now the polls are in and it’s official: you loved it! With 566 total responses to our survey from 49 different countries, an overwhelming 93% of attendees rated their experience as “amazing” or “great”. The #WCEU 2018 Attendee Survey

It’s been a little over two weeks since since we said goodbye to Belgrade and started actively preparing for Berlin. We’ve seen your tweets, your photos and your blog posts, and it sounds like everyone had an excellent experience at WordCamp Europe 2018. Now that the dust has settled and you’ve had some time to take a step back and reflect, we’d love to dig a little deeper to better understand who you are, what your experience was like, and how we can continue to improve.

WordCamp Europe is almost over (we still have one stellar After Party though) and, as it has become a tradition, we’ve announced next year’s host city at the Closing Remarks. Without further ado, pack your bags and join us in Germany’s capital city of Berlin for WordCamp Europe 2019!

Are you ready for lift off? WCEU is here and it’s gonna be spectacular! People have started to arrive from all corners of the world to Belgrade and this creates a wonderful vibe before the event. New at #WCEU: Attendee Services

Since ticket sales doubled in Vienna in 2016, so have the requests from attendees. Ticket invoices, visa invitation letters, dietary requirements, and other special needs used to be services that we could absorb across our existing teams of organizers. Now that your numbers have grown and are clearly not subsiding, we realized that these tasks needed a team of their own to make sure that attendees get the care and attention you deserve, before, during and after the event.
