Private Accommodation
If you are planning to stay longer in Belgrade, we recommend booking an apartment in the new part of Belgrade near the venues. Prices there are lower and everything will be within walking distance so you’ll enjoy the vibe of the summer alongside Belgrade rivers much more, and if you are coming by car it will be way easier to park your car for free there than in the city center.
Belgrade has a lot to offer – from restaurants, nice coffee places where you can have a good coffee while working – to nightlife, and there are a lot of great places alongside rivers. New Belgrade is well connected to the city center by public transportation and some bus lines are operating 24/7. However, the city center is just 20 minutes walk from New Belgrade over Branko’s bridge where you can take some great photos with old Kalemegdan fortress in the background.
While you stay in the center and because of affordable taxi prices, public transportation, and our local service CarGo – everything will still be accessible to you even when WordCamp Europe is happening (June 14–16).
If you are staying in Belgrade just for a few days during WordCamp Europe, then a more suitable solution would be to find something around the conference and Contributor day venues.
