Stats, survey results and a final round up of WCEU 2018

Our satellites have been orbiting and we can finally share the WCEU 2018 attendee observations that we collected in our survey.

We could tell from your smiling faces that you were enjoying WordCamp Europe. Now the polls are in and it’s official: you loved it! With 566 total responses to our survey from 49 different countries, an overwhelming 93% of attendees rated their experience as “amazing” or “great”. We received 374 applications from 216 people for WCEU 2018, which we narrowed down to 52 sessions from 65 speakers. After going through so many great applications, we noticed a number of different things that the stand-out applications had going for them. Apply to be a Teaching Assistant (TA) at #WCEU

This year we introduced workshops for the first time at WCEU. If you haven’t seen our Call for Workshops, you can read more about them here.

The workshops will last between 1 and 3 hours, and can have up to 80 people. It’s going to be a very dynamic and exciting environment to learn in.
