Tammie Lister
Tammie Lister works at Automattic, where she is an experienced designer donated to the WordPress.org project full time. Her background is varied and includes psychology, design, front end development and user experience. She is passionate about Open Source and community.
[Talk] Anatomy of a block: Gutenberg design patterns
Matías Ventura
Matías Ventura was born in Montevideo. He is a designer, engineer, film director, photographer, and writer of philosophy. He contributed the 2011 theme to WordPress, worked on the core Calypso team at Automattic, where he is also part of the developer experience team. Matías currently leads the Gutenberg editor project for WordPress.

Matías Ventura + the Gutenberg team
This workshop will be run by Matías Ventura and several other members of the Gutenberg team. The Gutenberg team work together to build and grow the Gutenberg editor which uses blocks to create all types of content, replacing a half-dozen inconsistent ways of customizing WordPress, bringing it in line with modern coding standards, and aligning with open web initiatives.

Zac Gordon
Zac Gordon is a professional educator, currently working on the JavaScript for WordPress Master Course. Previously, Zac taught WordPress for Treehouse. He has years of experience teaching WordPress and JavaScript at high schools, colleges, bootcamps and online learning sites. In addition to teaching, Zac also runs Web Hosting for Students, one of the world’s largest hosting companies dedicated to students and teachers.
Julien Melissas
Julien is a developer with a passion for clean, efficient code, and re-doing things until they’re just right. Julien is a co-founder and technical director at Craftpeak where he works on web stuff to support Craft Breweries all over the world. He’s on the Roots.io development team, and loves working on open source. When he’s is not in front of the screen, you can find him in the mountains of Western North Carolina on his BMW GS Adventure Motorcycle or out in the yard with his big dog Wilbur.

Lara Schenck
Lara Schenck is an independent WordPress and front-end developer Los Angeles. In her development work, Lara values clean content structure and is very excited to see how the introduction of Gutenberg and blocks will evolve the WordPress ecosystem.
A self-taught developer, Lara is forever on a mission to share her experience through speaking, teaching and writing in an effort to help others in their developer journey.
