Official Media Partners

In February 2022, we opened the Call for Media Partners and Supporters, inviting the press and media worldwide to assist us in spreading the news of WordCamp Europe around the world.

This year, we are happy to announce that 13 Media Partners and 7 Media Supporters will be sharing with their audience all the highlights and insights about the organization of the event and outstanding stories around WordCamp Europe 2022.

We are fortunate and at the same time excited to have repeat interest amongst our wonderful Media Partners for 2022.

Being with us since Public Relations began back in 2017 are

  • WP Tavern – WP Tavern is WordPress’ newspaper of record, reporting on WordPress news every day. They cover a wide range of topics, including (but not limited to) the Gutenberg project, core development, e-commerce, community, plugin and theme ecosystems, events, and the wider world of open-source software.
  • Torque Magazine – Torque Magazine is a leading resource for WordPress news. Content equips new and advanced WordPress users with expert insights and information to help them create, grow, and optimize their WordPress sites and build better experiences online.

From 2018 and back this year to support us in reaching every WordPress enthusiast in the known world is

  • Ayuda WordPress – With more than 500k visits per month, Ayuda WordPress (WordPress Help in Spanish) is the oldest and most popular blog dedicated to WordPress in Spanish. For almost 15 years they have been publishing WordPress news, tips, and tutorials on a daily basis. Its owner, Fernando Tellado, has three books published about WordPress, is a regular speaker in WordCamps, and is a long-time community contributor.

  • WP Builds that has been with us in the past as Media Supporter – WP Builds is a WordPress podcast that aims to keep the community up to date. With live shows, interviews, webinars, deals, and more, there’s sure to be something of interest.

While new additions for 2022 are

  • Do the Woo Podcast – Do the Woo brings the WooCommerce builder community together to share, learn, connect and grow. Through the podcast and other mediums, we help to elevate developers, freelancers, and agencies as they share their experiences and insights as a resource built by the community for the community.
  • The XWP Tonight Show – The XWP Tonight Show brings the prime time tonight show experience to WordPress. We interview technology and business leaders and gain insights into trends and impacts on the web.
  • The HeroPress Network was partnering with WordCamp Europe back in 2016 and now is back on track! – HeroPress enables the people of WordPress to tell their stories about how they’ve leveraged WordPress to build the lives they want. What’s your story? Read more at HeroPress.com.
  • WPfounders – A platform where founders of different WordPress businesses share their stories, challenges, and priceless advice, and also talk about their personal life.
  • Post Status – Post Status exists to help WordPress businesses and professionals grow in ways that expand, sustain, and protect the commons we share: the Open Web.
  • WP Shoutout – WP Shoutout is a Podcast about the WordPress ecosystem, for the WordPress community and powered by WordPress. With WP Shoutout, we emphasize the ‘Persons of WordPress’ aspect by covering their stories and experiences, which gives our listeners a glimpse of behind the scenes of this community. We are mostly focused on WordCamp interviews of speakers, sponsors, organizers, and other community members, promoting high-impact projects.
