Workshops

Registration & prerequisites for workshops

A workshop at WordCamp Europe is a full-on experience where you will be working on specific tasks, teaching you practical skills that you can apply in your daily work — whether it’s code, design or marketing strategy.

However, keep in mind that the number of seats in each workshop room is limited, and you can sign up for maximum 3 workshops. Some workshops also have prerequisites which you need to prepare in advance in order to get your workshop ticket. Therefore you have to register for the workshops you’d like to attend.

Registration will be held on Contributor Day and on both of the conference days up until shortly before each workshop. Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Read about how to register for your preferred workshops and what the prerequisites are for each on our Workshop page.

Happy learning!

Panel Discussion: Acquisitions in WordPress

On Friday 3 June 2022, join our global lead Taeke Reijenga who will be facilitating a panel discussion “Acquisitions in WordPress” to discover more about some of the major changes and takeovers within the community over the past year.

The session includes a discussion from a panel of business owners who chose to sell their businesses to other companies during 2021:

We’ll be finding out more about their businesses, why they chose to sell, unexpected pitfalls during the sale – and what this means for their long-standing customers as the businesses change hands.

The discussion will take place at 17:00 in our Track 2 theatre on 3 June 2022 at WordCamp Europe.
