Training Team

The Training Team is one of the teams behind the foundation and launch of the new Learn WordPress resource. It brings together professional WordPress trainers as well as testers, content editors, developers and everyone who believes in sharing knowledge for progress.

You can learn to use, extend, and contribute to WordPress through synchronous and asynchronous learning via Learn.WordPress.org.

Training Team reps Courtney and Hauwa will be at WordCamp Europe along with other members of the team for you to meet and work alongside in the Learn WordPress breakout session on Wednesday.

For new people

Hauwa wants to welcome all new contributors finding out about Training and Learn WordPress at WordCamp Europe. She said: “If you enjoy helping people learn how to use and build stuff for WordPress, immediately stop what you’re doing and join our team!”

She added: “Regardless of your skillset, you can help! We need people to write, copyedit, test, audit, connect, and review our lesson plans.”

Help to set up the communications channels to get started

Set up a WordPress.org and Slack account for the Make WordPress Channel.

If you can’t find a video in your own language, come and help make one! Translation is one of the ways you can contribute to WordPress and make a difference for many people.
