A joyful New Year lies ahead of us and the countdown to WordCamp Europe 2018 in Belgrade has begun. As with every WordCamp, WordCamp Europe needs volunteers. Lots of volunteers. Last year we had a giant volunteer team of 221 people, who made WordCamp Europe’s 2017 edition in Paris a wonderful, accessible and welcoming event for nearly 2000 attendees. WordCamps are organised and run by volunteers. They depend on ‘giving back’, spending your time making them the inspiring events they are.

This year, we introduced a way to voice your preferred volunteer role during signup. This is why we’ve written very detailed volunteer role descriptions. The role descriptions give you an idea about your tasks, the physical load and duration of the shift(s).
