Final #WCEU speaker announcement – Matt Mullenweg + Full Schedule

We are excited to announce that Matt Mullenweg will be joining us at WordCamp Europe again this year. Matt, the co-founder of WordPress and great friend of the WordCamp Europe community has been a guest speaker at past WCEU’s.

In previous years Matt has shared breaking news about the Gutenberg project, insight into WordPress, as well as last years interview and Q&A session. We are thrilled that Matt will be a guest speakers again this year in Belgrade.

As well as sharing this final speaker announcement, we are happy to release the full speaker and workshop schedule for WordCamp Europe 2018.

Talks and Lightning Talks

After the success of last years #WCEU in Paris, we are going to be continuing with the same format in Belgrade. There will be 2 main tracks with a combination of 23 long talks and 9 lightning talks.
To help us improve your WordCamp Europe experience we sent out a community survey at the beginning of the year. We heard you loud and clear in the survey results and this year, you will be happy to hear, we are including more in-depth development topics. Other topics include Gutenberg, design, accessibility, content, open source, personal growth and lots more.

Here is the full list of sessions and full list of speakers that will be attending #WCEU!

Make new WordPress friends and catch up with old ones!

Connecting and networking is a large part of WordCamp Europe, so this year we have added time for Open Networking on day one of #WCEU, to give you time to connect with new people and deepen existing relationships with other members of the WordPress community.
You will also have 20 minutes between sessions to change between tracks and workshops, giving you time to check out this years sponsors, get a photo with Wapuu and grab your WordPress swag!

As of today, we have over 1.400 attendees joining us in Belgrade. Tickets are selling everyday, and this year is set to be our biggest WordCamp Europe yet. Grab your ticket now and take a look at our Practical Info about Belgrade and how to get here.
