Excited about WordCamp Europe 2026? Now there’s a new way to show it.

This year, we’re introducing something a little more personal. You can now create your very own WCEU custom badge and use it wherever you like. Your website, your social channels, your newsletter, even your email signature. Wherever your voice lives, your badge can too.

The idea is simple. Take a colourful WCEU badge frame, add your own profile picture, and make it yours. It’s a small thing, but it turns your presence in the community into something visible, recognisable, and fun.

A badge for everyone

Whether you’re joining as an attendee, volunteering your time, speaking on stage, supporting as a sponsor, collaborating as a media partner, or helping behind the scenes as an organiser, there’s a badge for you.

We’ve created a set of ready-made badges for all roles in the community, as well as badge frames you can personalise with your own photo. Choose the one that fits you best, adjust it as you like, and start sharing in just a few clicks.

Note: the Wapuus are placeholders. On the Badges page, when you click on the badges you want to use, you will be able to upload your photo.

Why use a badge?

Because WordCamp Europe is not just an event. It’s a community.

Every year, thousands of people from across the world come together to learn, share ideas, and build connections around WordPress.

Your badge is a simple way to be part of that energy before you even arrive. It tells your network you’re going. It helps others recognise you. It sparks conversations that might start online and continue in person in Kraków.

And yes, it also builds a bit of healthy hype.

Let’s fill the internet with #WCEU

Once your badge is ready, don’t keep it to yourself.

Share it. Tag @WCEurope. Use the #WCEU hashtag. Link back to the official site and invite others to join you.

The more people share, the stronger the signal. And the stronger the signal, the bigger and more vibrant this year’s WordCamp Europe becomes.
