For attendees who have not registered for Contributor Day, registration will open at 08:00 on Friday 9 June and 08:30 on Saturday 10 June.

Finding your way around

Within the conference centre, you’ll find directional signs to help navigate your way around the complex. The Megaron is based over several floors, all of which are accessible.

In addition, you can view a map of the conference centre, including specific maps for our Expo area and also a dedicated accessibility map for those with reduced mobility.

Accessibility and Inclusivity

WordCamp Europe aims to create an accessible and inclusive environment for the WordPress community. Please refer to our dedicated page for further information.

Contributor Day

If you’ve already registered for Contributor Day, you can find the latest information on the dedicated webpage here. Contributor Day takes place on Thursday 8 June 2023 and our amazing volunteers will be on hand to direct you to the spaces we’re using for this event when you arrive inside the venue.

Be early to get a good place and bring your computer with you. Contributor Day registration begins at 08:30 and the day will begin at 09:15.

Note: Registration for Contributor Day has now closed – if you have not registered unfortunately you’ll be unable to access this due to space and catering capacities.

Workshop for kids

If you registered your child to attend the Kids Workshop, please proceed to check-in on arrival, and a volunteer will accompany you and your child to the room. The workshop is at the Conference Hall – Suite II MC 3.4.

Our Schedule of Events

For the latest schedule, please check the website for any changes to speakers, tracks or subjects

We published our schedule in May. For sessions taking place in Tracks 1, 2 and 3, you can turn up before the start time and take any available place within the room. Once a room is at capacity, entry will close.

Workshop Registration

Workshop 1 and 2 are located on floor -1 and registration is mandatory for these sessions. Some sessions have prerequisites – you will need to check you have these before registering.

The Workshop Registration desk located near Track 3.

Our dedicated Workshop Availability tracker will be updated regularly with the number of spaces available. Once these are at capacity, registration will close – therefore this is on a first come, first served basis. You can register for a maximum of 3 workshops to allow as many people as possible from the community to take part.

Once registered, you will receive information on how to attend the session, and a reminder of the location for the workshop.

Community Booth and WCEU postcards

Don’t forget to stop by the Community booth during your visit. Take a selfie, talk with members of the polyglots team and learn about the WordPress community initiatives – and we have the other 4 postcards to finish up your collection (read below for details!)

Postcards game

Each attendee will receive a packet with 4 postcards which are all the same. These are designed to be used like trading cards – simply walk around the venue and meet new people to exchange your postcards until you trade all 4!

During the day, some of our MCs will ask questions after talks have finished – if you know the answers, come to the Community booth and collect the other 4 cards. There are 8 postcards in the collection.

The Community Booth is located in Expo Area A near to the elevators and escalator.

WP Connect

WP Connect is set to promote conversation on topics that are important within the community on Friday.

On Saturday, WP Connect will focus on development, with a chat about the developers blog under WP.org and a demo of the new Playground. You can view the schedule here.

WP Connect is located on the first floor above Track 1, accessed from the stairs or elevators near the food and beverage stations at the top of the building.

Food and Beverage Menus

You can view a number of menus on our website to see in advance which catering options are available. Catering facilities are located throughout the conference centre.

Tables will display specific allergens in each item – please ask a member of the catering team if you have any queries.

If you have indicated that you’d like a specially prepared meal (such as Kosher or Halal) on your registration form, you’ll find your dedicated meal located at the beverage station outside Track 3 on level -1.

Water stations are also located around the venue. We’d recommend bringing your favourite reusable bottle (maybe the WC2022 one if you got one!) to help with our sustainability plans.

After Party – Happy 20th Birthday, WordPress!

You must have your WordCamp Europe 2023 badge with you to enter the venue.
The capacity of the venue is 1,500 people for safety and security purposes.
Please be considerate on the evening, and as always, follow the Code of Conduct for our events.

In honour of our celebration of 20 years of WordPress, we’re going to throw our favourite CMS a birthday party. But software is nothing without its people so at the same time we celebrate our great community!

Attendees are invited to wear their cherished local WordCamp or Meetup t-shirts, showcasing their support for their respective communities. To add an exciting twist of diversity, we suggest that individuals from the same city or country wear different t-shirts.

This creative theme pays homage to our community’s rich history and promotes camaraderie among participants. Let’s come together to create a joyful and colourful parade and celebrate two decades of connection, learning, and growing in style!

The After Party takes place at Lohan Athens Nightclub on Saturday 10 June form 20.30 – 02:00. You can find out more about the After Party here.
