Let’s take a moment to remember WordCamp Europe 2019, the last in-person WordPress flagship event to happen in Europe before the pandemic. It was a blast, right?
Together, we managed to organize the biggest WordCamp ever: 2734 attendees were present in Berlin, Germany.
60 sponsors and 150 micro-sponsors made the event accessible and affordable for attendees all around Europe and the world. And this didn’t go unnoticed: the whole organizing team, just as every single attendee, were so grateful for the support of our awesome sponsors.

What about the Covid-19
pandemic situation in Europe?
All of our combined efforts go into planning for a safe in-person WordCamp Europe in 2022, and we’re looking forward to reconnecting with each and everyone of you in Porto.
The team will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation in Portugal, Europe and the world and decisions will be made based on the safety of our community and in accordance with local mandates.
The event will comply with all rules, regulations and laws, including any restrictions concerning vaccination, mask-wearing, and other sanitation/security protocols.
