What does the team do?
We are a group of volunteers who review and approve themes submitted to be included in the official WordPress Themes directory.
We do license, security, and code quality reviews.
We help build and maintain default themes.
The primary focus of the team is to help theme authors transition to block-based themes.

When does the team meet?
The Themes team meets twice monthly on Tuesday @ 15:00 UTC and Block Based Themes meeting twice monthly at Wednesday @ 16:00 UTC.

If you can’t find a video in your own language, come and help make one! Translation is one of the ways you can contribute to WordPress and make a difference for many people.
