This year, WordCamp Europe will once again be online, and will bring together the worldwide WordPress community to share knowledge, opinions, ideas, and stories — across language barriers, borders, and timezones.

What’s new this year

This year, we have some exciting opportunities, including on-stage interview time, presence in our online platform, and the opportunity to give virtual gifts to attendees!

Sponsor on-stage interview!

WCEU 2021 will feature a unique format, and we’re excited to involve our sponsors! This year, the main stage will resemble a TV show with speaker interviews and sponsor interviews mixed with shorter conference presentations. We’re excited to get our sponsors in on the show by inviting Super Admin sponsors for 8 minute interviews, and Administrator sponsors for 4 minute interviews with the show hosts.

These interviews will be focused on the sponsor’s contribution to the WordPress community, with questions like:

• How does your company contribute to the WordPress community?
• What are your most exciting ideas to see grow and change in the WordPress platform?
• What would you say to other companies that are thinking about contributing to WordPress and they’re still not sure about it?
• What is the project 5 for the Future?
• Why and how is your company involved in it?
• What benefits have you seen as a company supporting WordPress events?

Online platform

We will take advantage of the Hubilo platform this year, which will give sponsors unique opportunities to reach conference attendees:

• Attendees will be able to search, filter, and sort Exhibitor & Sponsor Profiles
• Sponsors can offer downloadable materials for event attendees
• Sponsors can use their virtual booth to host live chats and meeting between attendees and exhibitors
• Sponsor logos will be displayed throughout the Hubilo event platform.

Virtual booths

Virtual booths will be available for Super Admin and Administrators sponsorship packages only, and will have the possibility of:

• Create and manage a personalized virtual booth
• Add information about themselves in the description box putting up banners (simple or autoplay video)
• Highlight their contact details (such as contact number, email and address)
• Showcase their products and offerings through videos and images in the form of a carousel
• Provide their social links
• Upload brochures and other downloadable contents
• Add profiles of team members that visitors can meet and chat with.
• Display a custom CTA to provide attendees with an event-specific offer or to drive them to their website or app.

Virtual gifts

Each sponsor will have the option to add something to a virtual goodie bag, which will be sent via email to all ticket holders.

This goodie bag item could be a discount for the sponsor’s service or product, some special deal, or even a discount (or free shipping) on a physical product.
