Contributor Day registration is now closed

Watching the increasing number of registrations to the first-ever large scale online Contributor Day has been amazing! We reached our maximum capacity for the day way faster than our team dreamt of. It gives us pure joy to see how many of you want to give back to the WordPress community!

We have limited the number of tickets for Contributor Day to try to ensure that everyone attending will be able to get enough guidance and advice during the day. This will make it easier for the different teams to use the day effectively to help attendees give back to the WordPress community.

For those of you who successfully registered to WCEU 2020 Online’s Contributor Day, we are going to send you more information in the coming weeks! We will be sending you details about the teams that you can work with on the day and about upcoming sessions to help you get started as a new contributor.

Due to the limit on the number of contributor tickets, if you are no longer able to attend Contributor Day for any reason, please let us know so that we can free up the place for someone else. You can do this by changing the “Will you be attending Contributor Day?” question on your ticket information to “No” or by sending an email to europe@wordcamp.org.

If you didn’t manage to register for WCEU 2020 Contributor Day, make sure to follow our website updates and social media channels (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), as we might announce a small batch of additional Contributor Day tickets at a later date.

It’s worth remembering that contributions to the WordPress project can happen anywhere and anytime. Find your way to get involved at make.wordpress.org and start contributing whenever you want!
