“I share my knowledge because I owe my own career to others who did the same for me. WCEU attendees are open and welcoming and eager to learn. I had great conversations and made lifelong connections and friendships at the event,”
says Morten Rand-Hendriksen, senior staff instructor at LinkedIn Learning and Lynda.com.
After WCEU 2017, the Organizing Team ran a community survey and the data collected clearly affirmed that more developer-oriented talks are what the audience is looking for. Advanced development was the most highly requested topic for presentations, selected by 53% of respondents, followed by design (45%).
“The web community is built on the spirit of sharing knowledge and lifting each other up, and it is my obligation and privilege to get to play a small part in this. Bringing new and emerging technologies to the forefront and getting people to start using them is a privilege I am humbled to be granted, and I do it with the goal of helping everyone, from the absolute beginner to the seasoned professional, acquire the tools they need to build a better web for everyone,” concludes Morten.
