Announcing livestream tickets sale

The regular tickets are gone, and while there are people who are worried because they didn’t get their ticket in time, we are trying to find the way to help. That’s why we started an article where you can advertise if you’re selling or buying the tickets – something that proved quite popular in the last few days. And the next thing we’d like to announce are the live stream tickets.

Got a #WCEU ticket to sell? Let others know!

On May 31st we closed regular ticket sales, and while we still have enough micro sponsor tickets, you might want to purchase a regular ticket. If you have an extra ticket to sell – write about it in the comments below. Also, if you want to buy tickets – write that in the comments too. Make sure you specify how many tickets do you sell/need and how to get in touch with you.

#WCEU is only two weeks away – let’s get ready!

We are two weeks away from WordCamp Europe! That means there are two weeks left for final preparations, and we wanted to share as much of the information you will need as possible. Have a question that hasn’t been answered yet? Well, read on – you might find it in the text that follows. Continue reading “#WCEU is only two weeks away – let’s get ready!”

A busy week ahead of us – today we’re releasing reserved tickets; schedule to be published on Friday

We are releasing all reserved (but unclaimed) tickets today; and plan to publish final schedule on Friday

This week is one of the busiest leading to WordCamp Europe. As of today, we have sold 2100 tickets and this week we’ll release the rest of the reserved tickets to bring us to the magical number of 3000 attendees. But not only that – you often asked us “when will you publish the schedule?” Well, your wait is (almost) over. We’re happy to say that the final schedule will be announced this week – as soon as we finish rolling out speaker announcements.

Final batch of tickets now on sale

It may have slipped by unnoticed, but last week we started selling the very final batch of tickets.

At the end of the last WordCamp Europe in Vienna, when we announced Paris as the next host city, we released the first batch of 2000 tickets. That first batch sold out at the end of January 2017 and we decided to release the second batch immediately after, along with 300 microsponsor tickets.

With over 2200 tickets already sold or reserved (for our sponsors, speakers, and volunteers), WordCamp Europe 2017 will be the biggest WordCamp to date.

Keep in mind that there won’t be any more tickets after this release, except reserved tickets that won’t get collected. Continue reading “Final batch of tickets now on sale”
