WordCamp Europe 2017 – Call for sponsors is now open #wceu
Reach thousands of WordPress professionals and influencers by becoming a sponsor of the largest official WordPress event in the world. Each year WordPress professionals come together for 3 days to share knowledge and experience, and to strengthen the WordPress community. None of this would be possible without sponsors, and as previous years show, each year is bigger and sells out faster. This year we are expecting over 3,000 attendees, so don’t miss the opportunity to be represented at WordCamp Europe 2017. Most sponsorship spots fill up in the first 48 hours, so get your applications in, as it’s on a first come first served basis.

The WordCamp Europe 2017 Speaker Selection Process
This year we’re taking a slightly different approach to speaker selection. As usual, we have a team of people who are managing speakers. This team will be reviewing all applications and we’ll be putting together the final schedule.
However, we’re enlisting some help: WordCamp Europe is an event for the WordPress community, so we’re inviting teams of community representatives to help us review the applications. Speaker selection panels will be asked to review different categories. We’ll have panels for Development, Design, Business, and Community. We also have an “Other” category for those that doesn’t fit neatly into the other categories. Continue reading “The WordCamp Europe 2017 Speaker Selection Process” →

Would you like to host WordCamp Europe 2018?
In 2017 Paris will welcome the global WordPress community for the fifth WordCamp Europe. Following the idea of the original WordCamp Europe team to introduce a new community and a new exciting location to its attendees each year, Paris will be the host of the largest WordPress event to this day after Leiden in 2013, Sofia in 2014, Seville in 2015 and Vienna in 2016. The new location is part of the magic of WordCamp Europe, it’s what transforms it from a technical conference into a sometimes life altering adventure full of new friendships, opportunities and the excitement of exploring a new city with great people.
Where will #WCEU go after Paris?

WordCamp Europe 2017 – Call for volunteers is now open #wceu
As with every WordCamp, WordCamp Europe needs volunteers. Lots of volunteers to be precise. Last year we had a giant volunteer team of 160 people, and this year we will need even more of you.
Being a volunteer is a rewarding and fulfilling experience. It gives you the opportunity to meet and speak with attendees from all over the world, help out with speakers and much more. And volunteering is important because without you, the volunteers, WordCamp Europe couldn’t be as accessible as it is. As with WordPress who democratized publishing, allowing everyone to publish within minutes, WordCamps are the way we meet people and learn new things. So… Continue reading “WordCamp Europe 2017 – Call for volunteers is now open #wceu” →
