The students joining us in Kraków are part of WordPress Credits, a program that integrates WordPress into university curricula and recognises students for contributing to real-world projects.

This year, five WordPress Credits students will attend WordCamp Europe fully sponsored: travel, accommodation, and the complete three-day experience: sessions, workshops, Contributor Day, and the hallway conversations that tend to matter just as much. Each sponsorship package is €1,000, processed through WordPress Community Support (WPCS).

This first edition was made possible by companies and individuals who wanted to do more than attend, they wanted to open the door for the next generation of contributors.

Sponsors who supported this initiative are recognized as WordPress.org Education Student Sponsors on the WCEU 2026 sponsors page, at a dedicated venue banner, and in a follow-up impact report.

Thank you to our WordPress.org Education Student Sponsors:

Automattic

Elementor

Hostinger

WPBakery

We hope this is the first of many years.
