If your team were a WordPress plugin, what would it do? \ud83e\udd14<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s not exactly a plugin, but the Block editor in the core\u2014though I suppose you could also call it Gutenberg! \ud83d\ude42 That\u2019s essentially what we do: transform the incredible designs from the Design team into clean, well-structured templates and pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s the most unexpected skill you\u2019ve used while organising WCEU? \ud83c\udfc4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resisting the temptation to indulge in too much candy while visiting Basel!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can\u2019t help but mention the moment we finally pushed the button and unveiled the new site design\u2014though, to be fair, it wasn\u2019t just one button we pushed, but quite a few along the way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Something that often surprises people is that WordCamp sites aren\u2019t just regular WordPress sites\u2014they\u2019re complex platforms that play a crucial role in organizing the event. They come with a lot of superpowers, but also with important caveats we need to keep in mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the spirit of open-source collaboration, what\u2019s the best lesson WCEU has taught you about teamwork?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When a group of people comes together around a shared purpose they truly believe in, you can trust that the weight won\u2019t fall solely on your shoulders\u2014everyone will be ready to share the burden and do their part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alfred Pennyworth: he may not be the hero in Batman\u2019s comics or movies, but he\u2019s undeniably the reliable assistant who ensures everything runs smoothly\u2014often taking care of things well ahead of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
