What\u2019s the most unexpected skill you\u2019ve used while organising WCEU? \ud83c\udfc4<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think keeping anxiety (mine and the one of the team) under control, especially when the event is approaching<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the first venue visit, an evening at a Basel Irish pub, relaxing and chatting about our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If WCEU were a music festival, what would be your team’s anthem? \ud83e\ude87<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, my team is the entire WCEU Orgs. So, let’s celebrate with We Are the Champions by Queen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because this group of people is doing great things during hard times. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s one thing people don\u2019t realise about your team\u2019s work behind the scenes? \ud83e\ude81<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lead Org role is pretty much a silent role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are responsible for the whole picture. So, we need to supervise all aspects and solve any issues that occur, but with respect to each team’s autonomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using a metaphor, let’s say that the WCEU Org team is like an orchestra, and the Lead Organisers are the conductors<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the spirit of open-source collaboration, what\u2019s the best lesson WCEU has taught you about teamwork?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooperation and respect! We are volunteers, and we need to respect everyone’s time and availability. The most important thing is that working together is pleasant and fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which famous fictional character would make the best addition to your team, and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mary Poppins. She is always calm, determined, and smiling. And, more importantly, she always has a solution in her bag!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
