One of the funniest and most memorable moments with my team was when we were deep in a sponsorship brainstorming session, trying to come up with creative perks for sponsors. Someone jokingly suggested, \u201cSuper Admin sponsors should get a private gondola ride to the venue\u201d (because, you know, Swiss luxury \ud83d\ude06).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That escalated quickly into a full-blown, laughter-filled discussion about VIP perks that don\u2019t exist but totally should, like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf6b Lifetime supply of Swiss chocolate sponsorship<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If WCEU were a music festival, the Sponsors Team\u2019s anthem would be \u201cMoney, Money, Money\u201d by ABBA \ud83d\udcb0\ud83c\udfb6\u2014because, let\u2019s be real, sponsorships make the event possible! \ud83d\ude06<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s one thing people don\u2019t realise about your team\u2019s work behind the scenes? \ud83e\ude81<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing people don\u2019t realise about the Sponsors Team is that we\u2019re not just \u201cselling sponsorships\u201d\u2014we\u2019re building long-term relationships and making sure sponsors feel valued, engaged, and excited about supporting WCEU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– It\u2019s a marathon, not a sprint \u2013 We start months in advance, negotiating, coordinating, and ensuring every sponsor gets the best experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– We\u2019re matchmakers \u2013 We don\u2019t just take sponsorships; we strategically pair brands with the right opportunities to make their presence at WCEU meaningful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– We juggle A LOT \u2013 From contract details to booth placements, social media mentions, and last-minute requests, we make sure everything runs smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, while it might seem like \u201cjust emails and invoices\u201d behind the scenes, it’s a mix of sales, event planning, PR, and a whole lot of diplomacy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
