Charlotte Bax

Charlotte started out as your regular WordPress hobby blogger, but has grown into one of The Netherlands’ top voices on sustainable webdesign, and digital sustainability in general. With her company Digihobbit, she helps green and social entrepreneurs and organizations to make their websites more sustainable: by building, redesigning, doing CO2 analyses and consultancy.
In addition she is the CEO of ENNOR Toolbox for Online Sustainability, a young climate tech startup that builds software to measure the CO2 emissions of websites and web applications. In 2024 they won the Startup In Residence Intergov challenge “Energy usage of government software”, which enabled them to co-create an MVP together with the Dutch Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Thanks to her clear and accessible language, Charlotte is very good at explaining technical subjects to non-technical people. In her spare time, she enjoys bouldering, hiking, camping, gardening, good food and curling up on the couch with a pot of tea and a good book.
