This session explores how Figma Design Systems can bridge the gap between designers, site builders, and WordPress developers, making theme development and website creation more scalable, efficient, and maintainable. We will showcase real-world applications, including the Novus Media Newspaper Design System, which supports 22 newspaper brands using Figma modes, typography variables, and color systems, all mapped to WordPress block themes and theme.json structures.
