We know that traveling abroad and dealing with visa applications can be challenging. When it comes to attending WordCamp Europe 2024 in Torino, Italy, the visa process can vary for people from different countries.
Regardless of your specific visa requirements for travel to the Schengen Area, please also check that your passport will remain valid for at least three (3) months beyond the date you will return to your country.

Which Visa should I apply for?
We recommend that you check with the relevant agency who handles visa applications for your country. In most cases, this may be a Tourist visa.
You cannot apply for a Business Visa as a requirement is that “every Business Visa application has to be confirmed by an invitation letter from a business/company based in Italy.”
The organiser of the event, WordPress Community Support, PBC. is not based in Italy. We are therefore unable to provide any additional supporting letter for this, or further documents.
Can you provide additional letters / forms / documents to support my application?
No, we’re only able to provide the letter of invitation which is from WordPress Community Support, PBC, a subsidiary of the WordPress Foundation based in San Francisco, California.
We’re unable to amend or change the format of our letters.
Can you contact the embassy for me?
No, we’re only able to provide the letter of invitation.
Our team are all volunteers based across Europe and cannot contact embassies on your behalf.
My application has been declined
