If you have purchased a WordCamp Europe 2024 ticket but are unable to attend the event, you can request a refund. The procedure is quite simple and is described below.
Refund requests are available only until 26 May 2024
How to Refund Your Ticket
To refund your ticket, there are four steps:
- Check your inbox
- Click on the link in the email
- Request a Refund
- Confirm and Complete
Step 1: Check your inbox
First, search your email inbox for the subject line ‘Your Ticket to WordCamp Europe 2024’ to find your ticket confirmation email.
If you can’t locate your ticket confirmation email, please contact us, and we’ll resend it to you.
Step 2: Click on the link in the email
To receive a refund for your purchased ticket, visit the ticket edit access link in your WordCamp Europe 2024 ticket confirmation email.
Step 3: Request a Refund
Click the “request a refund” link on your ticket page.
Step 4: Confirm and Complete
After clicking on the request refund link, you will be taken to the refund request form.
While it is optional to include a reason for the refund, you must check the “I agree to the above terms” checkbox and click the “Send Request” button to complete the process.
If you’re unable to request a refund, please contact us, and we will process it manually for you.
Important notes
If you want to proceed with a refund, it is important to be aware of the following:
- It may take a few days for your refund to be processed.
- When requesting a refund, all tickets purchased together will be cancelled. We are unable to provide partial refunds or transfer refunds to a different account.
- Once cancelled, a ticket will not be transferable or redeemable.
- The tickets that have been issued for speakers, volunteers, sponsors and crew are not refundable. If you have been selected but are unable to attend WordCamp Europe 2024, please contact us to proceed with a cancellation.
