Can you start by painting a picture of what a typical day looks like for you? What fuels your passion for the work you do, and how does it tie into your involvement with WCEU?
My day is pretty straightforward on one hand, but on the other hand it’s quite fickle as most of my daily tasks are related to working with clients and every single day brings new challenges. I usually start my day with the overlook of my projects’ portfolio, some planning and its adjustments to make sure my team can move smoothly within the daily maze. Then I do my best to devote part of the time to “strategic topics” and require diving deeper, analysing, etc. Once it’s done, I jump into all smaller and bigger topics related to my projects, and they’re consuming my time like a jet consuming fuel. In the end, I believe that what drives me is working with people, helping our customers grow and problem-solving – project management is all about finding solutions.
What sparked your interest in becoming a speaker at WCEU? Was there a particular moment or experience that motivated you to share your insights with this community?
There has been no specific moment, but I thought that sharing my experience related to project management could benefit others by debunking some PM myths and show that this, often overlooked area, can be interesting and has a huge impact on business. Besides that, I just enjoy presentation and presenting itself.
For those awaiting your talk, could you give us a preview of what we can expect to learn from your talk? Any sneak peeks?
Of course! I’ll tell you what project management, WordCamp’s Wapuu and a small town in Poland has in common. Seriously! Besides that, I’ll show you why project management matters and can differentiate an agency in an industry where technology is fairly unified.
Is it your first time at a WCEU or WordPress event? Any standout memories or lessons learned that you’d like to share?
It’s my first time, and I’m thrilled to be there!
Looking beyond the scheduled sessions, what do you hope attendees will take away from their overall experience at WCEU? How can they leverage the event to enhance their professional development or personal growth?
Well, I personally love such events as they can be eye-opening or ideas-sparking. I feel that the biggest value, they force you to see and hear new things and ideas that you can later in your own life or work. You just need to listen carefully.
