{"id":4234,"date":"2023-01-24T09:30:00","date_gmt":"2023-01-24T07:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/europe.wordcamp.org\/2023\/?p=4234"},"modified":"2023-05-19T18:09:57","modified_gmt":"2023-05-19T15:09:57","slug":"presenting-wp-connect","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/europe.wordcamp.org\/2023\/presenting-wp-connect\/","title":{"rendered":"Presenting WP Connect"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>WP Caf\u00e9 upgrades for 2023: new format, new name.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For years now, WordCamp Europe has hosted a great community-based event called WP Caf\u00e9. It was a space where attendees can join informal, guided conversations about specific topics, while drinking coffee, tea, or other favourite beverages together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the WordCamp Europe organisers wanted to improve the experience of WP Caf\u00e9 for all attendees. We identified a couple pain-points that we knew we could address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For some cultures and languages the name \u201cCaf\u00e9\u201d, doesn&#8217;t evoke the idea of having a participatory, communal event \u2013 instead, it feels like a normal caf\u00e9 space.
