WordPress relies on people like you pitching in to exist (and thrive!) – and you can make a difference, even in just one day. Contributor Day offers you an opportunity to learn how to contribute to WordPress, sharpen your skills by collaborating with other members of the community, get to know us a little more, and just have an all around great time. So it’s a day of fun and connection but you might still be asking yourself\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n Contributing to an open source project, like WordPress, means actively participating in its development, improvement, and maintenance. This can involve technical tasks and non-technical ones, which could include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n Technical tasks<\/p>\n\n\n\n Non-technical tasks <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2026 and many other things! WordPress like we do, you know it literally relies on each and every contribution to be the awesome tool that powers over 43% of the web. So the number one reason you’d want to sign up and bring your best is because without contributors like you, WordPress wouldn’t be what it is today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But there\u2019s more, of course!
