Yoast sponsors dozens of WordCamps around the world. Big or small, we appreciate everyone who contributes to WordPress. We want to contribute to the community and ensure everyone has an equal opportunity. We have our Yoast Diversity fund and Yoast Care fund.
Our Yoast Diversity fund aims to increase the diversity of the WordPress community by removing financial barriers for people from typically underrepresented groups in the tech industry. And our Yoast Care fund offers a gift to a candidate who donates their time to WordPress for free.

We are thrilled to be part of WordCamp Europe 2023 this year and have the opportunity to engage with the remarkable WordPress community and continue working together to keep making the web better for all. Yoast strives to contribute to the prevalence of a healthy, flourishing, and diverse web.
That’s why our booth theme this year is all about making the web a better place for the future. We started this with our Inclusive Language feature, which aims to combat and highlight non-inclusive terms. It helps you improve your content for your users and reach a wider, more diverse audience – without accidentally offending or alienating people.
Our Crawl Optimization settings are designed to help you reduce the environmental footprint of your website. This way, you can determine which pages of your website really need to be crawled by search engines. Not everything on your site needs to be crawled and the more the search engine crawls, the more CO2 is produced by wasting energy. If you turn off a few unneeded crawls, you can save forests!
