After a long career in web-development, primarily working with WordPress, Michael now works in Developer Relations and is passionate about assisting, guiding, and mentoring other developers to help them produce their best work.
He takes a keen interest in the development of the Gutenberg project and is the author of the course “Introduction to Block Development: Build your first custom block” which is available for free on learn.wordpress.org.
Michael has also been an active contributor to the community. As well as organising local WordCamps and do-action days he was on the WCEU organising team for three consecutive years.
