After some years working at recording studios, Luis started on his entrepreneurship path in 2011 with TrainYourEars, an ear training software that is still widely used.
In 2014 he started the open-source acoustics project HertzLovers to help small recording studios improve their acoustics. In 2015, he co-founded and led the design and development of Frontity, an open-source framework to build WordPress themes using React.
Last year, he joined Automattic along with the rest of the Frontity members to work full-time on the developer experience of Gutenberg and Full Site Editing.
