Who is the audience?
Personas help speakers understand what type of audience they will speak to. We analysed feedback from previous years to better understand the most common attendee profiles. Here are the largest groups:

Her dream is to focus on her side gig in the next year and become a full-time blogger. She uses WordPress as her CMS because it’s the easiest to set up and has multiple great features and plugins. Camila’s sister, Anastasia, is an interior designer. With Camilla’s help she set up her landing page with WordPress too. Matt [WordPress developer for the last 18 years] Matt is now 32 years old and has been using WordPress since its first version. He is an experienced developer who accompanied WordPress from a blogging tool, to a CMS, and all the way to Full Site Editing. Although not super experienced in JavaScript, he loves the new features implemented by the Core Team. Alexander [Small WordPress agency owner ] Alexander is 42 years old and runs/works for a small web agency in Athens. He is customer facing and the main point of contact responsible for building customer relationships. These relationships are essential because they allow him to explain and present why the company prefers to use WordPress and why WordPress is the best option. Day to day he looks for the best solutions for client’s needs and he has been highly successful in pitching new clients. Amanda [Owner of WordPress themes and plugins company] Amanda is 35 years old and runs a company that creates premium themes and plugins for the WordPress ecosystem. She has been attending WordCamps for a few years and knows a lot of people from the community. She uses WordCamps to understand how WordPress is evolving and how her team can use its potential for new tools. Carlos [Support technician for a WordPress themes and plugins company] Carlos was hired six months ago as a support technician for a company that creates plugins and themes for WordPress.
