At an event like WordCamp Europe, it’s not unusual for the unexpected to happen. For example, a problem with a speaker losing their internet connection. As much as we can prepare, sometimes things do go wrong at events, meaning the planned speaker isn’t able to present on the day.
With the attendees in mind, the Organising Team selected a couple of backup speakers. They have invested their valuable time in creating and perfecting a session for WordCamp Europe 2020 Online, knowing that there would only be a small chance they’d get to present it.
For their effort, commitment and availability, they deserve a special thank you from all of us. This year, our backup speakers are Pedro Carvalho and Jesús Amieiro. Let’s give them both a special big hand from all of us for helping WordCamp Europe 2020 Online.
