WordPress is built on collaboration and community, and many people have their first contributor experience at a WordCamp. Coming together for contributing events across the globe is a wonderful opportunity to share and learn together.
Your stories of contributing at a WordCamp can help us encourage new contributors to take part in this amazing experience. Tickets for the 8th WordCamp Europe Contributor Day will open on 24 March 2020.
We want to encourage even more people to be part of the event, to pick up new skills and to use their talents to make WordPress even better. Without contributors, there would, of course, be no Contributor Day, and no WordPress!
We need you!
This year, WCEU Contributor Day will take place 4 June 2020, one day before WordCamp Europe starts. Contributor Day gives attendees the chance to meet new friends and pick up a new skill or two, all while helping to make WordPress even better.
Registration for this year’s Contributor Day opens on 24 March 2020. In the meantime, we need your help to encourage more WordPressers than ever before to take part.
From Design to Polyglots, Documentation to Marketing, there are many different areas that need help from contributors. Regardless of experience or background, everyone is welcome at Contributor Day, and we need your help to highlight this.
We plan to feature a number of stories from seasoned contributors who enjoyed their experience at contributing events. These Contributor stories will be published on the WCEU blog and social media channels in the run-up to the event. Do you have a story to share?
