Are you coming to Berlin ahead of WordCamp Europe and organising a non-commercial, unbranded warm-up event? Do you have an idea for an activity but need help making it happen? We would love to know! <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

One of many benefits about WCEU is the number of communities that converge in the same place at the same time. As attendance grows, there\u2019s less opportunity to talk to everyone you know, or would like to know better, in between sessions and workshops or even songs and dancing at the After Party. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warm-up events and activities provide a wonderful way for smaller groups of people to spend time together, allowing you to make new connections or make new memories with existing friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year they\u2019re set to take place on Wednesday 19 June 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are a lot of first-timers to Berlin who are arriving early to explore, as well as locals who know the city well. Warm-up events are great primers that mix freshness with expertise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will you be with colleagues who want to organise a Beer Bike Tour but don\u2019t have 9-16 persons in your party to make a reservation? By welcoming others you can split the cost, book in advance, and have fun with new people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe you\u2019re a solo traveller looking for a friendly game of football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or you\u2019re with the Spanish WordPress community and want to have a sing-off against the German community at a karaoke bar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is your chance to get involved — plan a WCEU warm-up event and invite more people!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Co-working and coffee<\/li>
  • Meet and greet rooftop cocktails<\/li>
  • Family-friendly picnic<\/li>
  • Haribo gummy enthusiasts gathering<\/li>
  • Draw on the Berlin Wall (sanctioned section for this)<\/li>
  • Street art walking tour<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
