We\u2019ve prepared this primer to assist with choices. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>During WCEU, of course, attendees will be provided with meals and beverages that cater to everyone&#8217;s dietary requirements. In Berlin, you&#8217;ll often find the sausage served without the casing or &#8220;<em>gut<\/em>.&#8221; This popular dish was invented in Berlin in 1949, and has been a staple ever since. The Turkish D\u00f6ner Producers in Europe group claims that a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/world-europe-24685617\">Turkish person in Berlin<\/a> is responsible for the widespread popularisation of the dish worldwide. You will find <em>d\u00f6ner kebap<\/em> all over the city, often available from multiple restaurants on larger intersections. Try an older, family-run restaurant, or a more modern state-of the-art restaurant: you won\u2019t be disappointed! Although Berlin is rich with non-veggie restaurants and dishes, it\u2019s also known for its creative vegetarian and vegan options! <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vegetarianism_by_country#Germany\">In fact<\/a>, in 2016, Germany had the highest number of vegetarians in the modern West.
