New batch of Micro-sponsor tickets released<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

WordCamp Europe 2019 is four months away, and we cannot wait to put on an unforgettable event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re excited. Not just because, as Organisers, we know what\u2019s in store. We\u2019re excited because of you<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re excited because of your feedback and the way our community has engaged with us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re excited because we are four months out and already breaking records\u2026 and we\u2019re celebrating by releasing a new batch of Micro-sponsor tickets<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WCEU 2019 is breaking records <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re blown away by the support for this year\u2019s event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first batch of General Admission tickets sold out in a matter of hours. There were more submissions for talks and workshops from more applicants than ever before. A record number of Media Partners have been approved to share WCEU stories with the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We sold out of Micro-sponsor tickets a little while ago, and for the first time ever<\/em> we have released a second and third batch<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is a Micro-sponsor?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You are presented with two options when purchasing a ticket to WordCamp Europe: a Standard (General Admission) ticket or a Micro-sponsor ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Standard ticket is priced at \u20ac50, which is far below the real cost of attendance to keep WCEU affordable for as many people as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Micro-sponsor ticket is priced at \u20ac150, giving those who are able to pay a figure that\u2019s closer to the real cost of attendance the chance to donate extra if they choose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, we\u2019ve seen an increasing number of Micro-sponsor tickets being purchased. It has been incredibly heartwarming to see so many people feeling inspired to give more when they can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sponsors and Micro-sponsors help us deliver the best experience for attendees, and we could not do it without them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are humbled to share that we are on track to welcome more Micro-sponsors than ever before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
