People asked us, \u201cWhat makes a great candidate?\u201d Here are some of the things we look for when we deliberate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Based in Europe<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience volunteering at WCEU in some capacity<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience organizing a WordCamp or running a Meetup<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience organizing other types of large events (1000+ people)<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with remote work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The 2019 WordCamp Europe organizing team will be broken down into the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attendee Services<\/li>\n<li>Communications<\/li>\n<li>Community<\/li>\n<li>Design<\/li>\n<li>Local<\/li>\n<li>Public Relations<\/li>\n<li>Photography<\/li>\n<li>Speakers<\/li>\n<li>Sponsors<\/li>\n<li>Volunteers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications are now closed &#8211; all applicants will be contacted by August 10th, 2018.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WordCamp Europe is already gearing up for 2019 in the beautiful city of Berlin!
