That\u2019s why we\u2019re offering the <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.europe.wordcamp.org\/2019\/05\/07\/wordpress-workshop-for-kids\/\">WordPress Workshops for Kids<\/a> on 20 June, free childcare on 21-22 June, and have shared helpful practical information like <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.europe.wordcamp.org\/getting-around-berlin\/\">transportation<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.europe.wordcamp.org\/2019\/05\/01\/food-berlin\/\">dining out<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.europe.wordcamp.org\/2019\/06\/05\/german-sim-cards-free-wifi\/\">SIM cards<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, we\u2019re here with another guide to help you make the most of your experience in Berlin: how to keep your kids entertained while you\u2019re in town for #WCEU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Berlin is a huge city with tonnes of attractions and opportunities. You won\u2019t have any trouble finding something to do to keep your little ones occupied, but you might have a hard time choosing from the huge number of options! So we\u2019ve taken advice from real life Berlin parents, and narrowed the list for you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adventure &amp; Action<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fez-berlin.de\/en\/\"><strong>FEZ<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong><br>The FEZ Berlin is Europe&#8217;s biggest non-profit centre for children, youth and families. They have big playgrounds, a forest and a large palace with workshops for kids. You can hang out at the space centre or go for a swim in their pool and lake, which even has a beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.top10berlin.de\/de\/cat\/familie-275\/indoor-aktivitaeten-fuer-kinder-1524\/jump-house-berlin-reinickendorf-4527#1\"><strong>Jump House<\/strong><\/a><br>The Jump House is Germany\u2019s biggest hall for jumping, and also includes courts for games like basketball or dodgeball. The FoaJump and BagJump have huge foam pools to land in, so that you can try tricks and flips. Try fighting in the BattleBox, or test your stamina and skill in the SurvivalJump area. The Jump House is perfect for active kids, and is fun regardless of weather conditions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Museums<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sdtb.de\/museum-of-technology\/623\/\"><strong>Technic Museum<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><br>This museum has two parts: one explores the story of trains and machines, and the other takes you on a journey with demonstrations about visual illusions and various historical connections to culture and everyday life. It\u2019s a great interactive learning experience for young and old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take advantage of lower entrance fees by purchasing a Kombiticket for access to this museum and the National History Museum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.museumfuernaturkunde.berlin\/en\"><strong>National History Museum (Naturkundemuseum)<\/strong><\/a><br>Explore the world of dinosaurs! Take advantage of lower entrance fees by purchasing a Kombiticket for access to this museum and the Technic Museum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.officiallittlebigcity.com\/berlin-en\/\"><strong>Miniatur Stadt Berlin<\/strong><\/a><br>Experience the 750-year story of Berlin in a very special way: through miniature buildings, holograms and projections that bring old-time Berlin to life!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.computerspielemuseum.de\/\"><strong>Computer Game Museum<\/strong><\/a><br>Explore the history of gaming and development during the last 60 years. This museum features rare originals and hands-on, playable classic games! Check the website for special exhibitions and events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zoo &amp; Animals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zoo-berlin.de\/de\"><strong>Berliner Zoo<\/strong><\/a><br>If the weather is good (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theweathernetwork.com\/de\/14-day-weather-trend\/berlin\/berlin\">as it is forecast to be<\/a>), go for a walk in the zoo and explore more than 17,000 animals. The website has details of special events, feeding times and shows. Maybe you can even take a walk with the llamas! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The zoo isn\u2019t the only place to get your animal fix! Berlin is one of Europe\u2019s greenest capitals. Its diverse urban parks and landmark cultural projects in open spaces are a major contribution to the city\u2019s quality of life and identity.
