All the Menus
Whether you’re attending, contributing, learning, speaking or sponsoring, we know that you’re sure to work up an appetite. Great news! We’ve got food for you at #WCEU on Contributor Day, on Main Conference Days and at the After Party.
Catering to 3000+ people from all over the world with a variety of dietary requirements and preferences can be quite a challenge, and one we hope we’ve done well in meeting this year in cooperation with the Estrel venue.
Vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, halal, kosher, seafood/nut/other allergies? We listened.
All meals will be served buffet style, allowing you to choose what you want to eat. Publishing menus in advance helps inform those choices, especially if under stress in avoiding risk and harm from certain food ingredients.
At the Estrel venue
These notes apply to Contributor Day and Main Conference lunches, and the After Party dinner, all served by and at the Estrel.
- Vegan and vegetarian dishes are clearly marked.
- All vegetarian dishes are halal.
- All vegan dishes are also lactose-free. Not all lactose-free dishes are vegan/vegetarian.

- Many dishes are gluten-free.
- Nuts are present in one lunch wrap on Contributor Day, one sandwich on Day 1 of the Conference, one salad on Day 2 of the Conference, and one optional sauce on the side and one dessert at the After Party. Nuts are an ingredient in bread offered optionally and separately on main conference days.
- Kosher meals will be served separately at location 9 on our Venue Map. All attendees receive a map at Registration so you can find the location.
At the Social
The Social for Volunteers and Sponsors is being held at a different location.

The Social menu PDF only has vegan/vegetarian icons. Venue will provide more detailed allergen information next to each dish at the buffet.
No matter when and where you are eating, we would love for you to enjoy meals with us!

Yay! Great job on providing something for everyone!
Nice! Sounds good .. although looking at the first day menu I found out that gluten free options almost non exist.
Many a page is missing? Or I miss something with those labels..
