A future for past WordCamp t-shirts
WordCamp Europe 2019 is less than one month away and preparations are in full swing. For all you fashionistas out there, your free WCEU t-shirt will be available for collection at the event. These exclusive items are popular!
If you are a seasoned WordCamper, you may have built up quite a collection of t-shirts. If you need to make space in your wardrobe, we would love to help you find a new home for your spare t-shirts.
For the first time at WCEU, there will be a Charity Drop for past event t-shirts you no longer want or need, giving them a new purpose.
What is the Charity Drop?
It is a way of giving a new home to WordCamp t-shirts you no longer need. At WordCamp Europe 2019, you will be able to donate t-shirts received from previous WordCamps. We will make sure they go to worthy causes.
Why are you doing this?
We are committed to improving sustainability at WCEU and wanted to find a way people could participate in the three Rs: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. On top of this, donating previous edition t-shirts is a great way to help people in need.
Discover other measures we are taking to reduce waste at WCEU 2019 and improve recycling at the event.
How do I take part in the Charity Drop?
Bring clean WordCamp or sponsor-branded t-shirts and drop them off at the collection point. Please note we are only accepting WordCamp-related clothing and no other items.
Where do I take my donation?
You can drop off donations at a collection point located near the Registration area and the main entrance of the Estrel. Exact locations are indicated on the Venue Map you will receive when picking up your badge.
When can I donate?
Anytime between 09:00 and 17:00 on 20-22 June 2019.
