We\u2019re over the moon<\/strong> to announce more details around this year\u2019s after party.<\/p>\n

For those who haven\u2019t attended before, WordCamp Europe after parties are simply out of this world<\/strong>. They\u2019re a chance for us to celebrate, mingle amongst the stars<\/strong> of the conference, and network in a casual, fun atmosphere<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s after party will launch<\/strong> on June 16th, the final day of the conference. You\u2019ll need to make your way to Belexpo Centar, the contributor day venue, for lift off<\/strong>. \ud83d\ude80 \u2b50<\/p>\n

And, yes, we are providing clues about the after party’s theme in the form of terrible puns. \ud83d\ude42 In 2016, we invited you to a Venetian Ball<\/a> and, the following year, to a 1930s-style shindig in Paris<\/a>. We\u2019re trying something a little different this year in the form of a retro-futuristic party<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The After Party Theme<\/h2>\n

Retro-futurism is a look at how the people of the past imagined the future, both on Earth and in space. Think of all your favourite, cheesiest parts from Back to the Future<\/strong> with a twist of 2001: A Space Odyssey<\/strong> thrown together with the most iconic moments from Star Wars<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
