Tribe Meetups and Speed Networking are back!<\/strong> Again. After two successful WordCamps Europe, where you loved them and asked for more<\/strong> \u2013 we’re glad we can announce that we’ll have three Speed Networking and ten Tribe Meetup sessions.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We know how important it is to meet people at WordCamp Europe, and while we are aware everyone is friendly and outgoing, we thought we\u2019d give you some specific occasions for\u00a0meeting others.<\/p>\n

The speed networking and tribe meetups will be held in Salle Haussmann!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speed Networking<\/h2>\n

You\u2019ll have around 2-3 minutes to introduce yourself to and meet someone from the WordPress community and, when you hear the signal, you\u2019ll then witch and move on to someone else! We\u2019re hoping you\u2019ll get to meet some new people you wouldn\u2019t have been able to meet otherwise.<\/p>\n

Tribe Meetups<\/h2>\n

In parallel with the amazing content being covered in various sessions over the two days, we\u2019re also going to have a time dedicated to specific interest groups so you can get to know each other and talk about your shared interests in Tribe Meetups.<\/p>\n

The Tribe Meetups are optional, unstructured, and unmoderated \u2013 we\u2019ll provide a space to gather, and you can bring yourself and be ready to meet your fellow tribe members. The primary focus is networking and meeting others!<\/p>\n

Do I need to sign up ahead of time?<\/h3>\n

Space is not unlimited, so yes \u2013 we’ll need you to fill out this form<\/a> if you’re interested. Registration is not a requirement to attend<\/strong>, nor is it a commitment to be there<\/strong>, but we\u2019d like to get a sense of participation interest before the event. Let other people know via Twitter (use the #WCEU hashtag) which Tribe Meetup(s) you\u2019ll be attending!<\/p>\n

What do I need to do to participate?<\/h3>\n

Go to the appointed space during the time slot for your tribe, indicated below. Please don\u2019t go into the tribe meetup space unless it\u2019s your tribe meeting so we can keep conversations focused.<\/p>\n

The times for meetups will roughly mirror the regular conference sessions with starting times and breaks at the same time:<\/p>\n
