In &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/2017.europe.wordcamp.org\/session\/the-pernicious-myth-of-the-code-poet\">The Pernicious Myth of the Code Poet<\/a>&#8220;, Boone will argue that code is <strong>not<\/strong> poetry and that coders who considers themselves &#8220;poets&#8221; risk doing a disservice to themselves, and to the software they&#8217;re engaged in building. By breaking down the myth of the code poet, he hopes to introduce\u00a0some new metaphors that software developers can embrace.<\/p>\n<h2>Andrea Middleton &#8211; How WordPress Communities Are Built<\/h2>\n<p>As a Dot Organizer at Automattic,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/2017.europe.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/andrea-middleton\/\">Andrea<\/a>\u00a0has worked with WordCamp organisers since 2011. She helps\u00a0people to plan events that inspire people to do more with WordPress, connect the WordPress community, and contribute to the WordPress project. <a href=\"http:\/\/2017.europe.wordcamp.org\/session\/how-wordpress-communities-are-built\">Andrea&#8217;s\u00a0talk<\/a> will introduce you to the WordPress community\u2019s \u201csource code\u201d and provide an overview on how you can contribute to the growth of your local community \u2014 or create a community if you don\u2019t already have one.<\/p>\n<h2>Petya Raykovska &#8211; WordPress beyond borders: Cross cultural communication and the fundamentals of caring<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/2017.europe.wordcamp.org\/speaker\/petya-raykovska\/\">Petya<\/a> is a Senior Project Manager Human Made and the community lead for the WordPress Polyglots team. WordPress is available globally, in many many languages, and created globally &#8211; by people from all over the world. In theory, it has gone beyond borders.
