We want WordCamp Europe to be an event where\u00a0attendees\u00a0feel welcome, comfortable, and included.<\/p>\n<p>Following the example\u00a0of other WordCamps, including\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/2016.us.wordcamp.org\/2016\/11\/28\/inclusion-and-accessibility-at-wordcamp-us\/\">WordCamp US<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/2017.london.wordcamp.org\/accessibility-and-inclusivity\/\">WordCamp London<\/a>, we have listed some of our efforts to ensure that WordCamp Europe is accessible and inclusive to all on this page.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re always learning. If you know of a way we could make our event more accessible and inclusive, or if you have any other feedback or questions, then please don&#8217;t hesitate to <a href=\"https:\/\/2017.europe.wordcamp.org\/contact\/\">contact us<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Code of Conduct<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All WordCamp Europe attendees are expected to abide by <a href=\"https:\/\/2017.europe.wordcamp.org\/code-of-conduct\/\">our code of conduct<\/a>. We\u00a0encourage anyone who witnesses or is subject to inappropriate behaviour to report it to us via the form at the bottom of the code.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Speaker Selection Process<\/h2>\n<p>We followed a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/2017.europe.wordcamp.org\/2016\/12\/05\/the-wordcamp-europe-2017-speaker-selection-process\/\">transparent speaker selection process<\/a>\u00a0in which diversity of speakers and topics was considered.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Venue Accessibility Information<\/h2>\n<p>We have\u00a0organised more in-depth accessibility information about the <strong>conference venue<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/2017.europe.wordcamp.org\/attendee-information\/accessibility-and-inclusivity\/conference-venue-accessibility-information\/\">here<\/a>. In addition, we&#8217;re in the process of organising\u00a0information about the <strong>after party venue<\/strong> &#8211; stay tuned. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Speech to Text Reporters (STTRs)<\/h2>\n<p>Live captioning will be provided for <a href=\"https:\/\/2017.europe.wordcamp.org\/schedule\/\">all presentations<\/a> in the main conference tracks. This won\u2019t be available at Contributor Day or in any of the sponsor workshops.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Visas<\/h2>\n<p>If you need to obtain a VISA in order to visit France then we will provide an invitation letter for\u00a0your application. Please\u00a0request the letter via <a href=\"https:\/\/2017.europe.wordcamp.org\/contact\/wceu-visa-application-form\/\">this form<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Childcare<\/h2>\n<p>Parents are welcome to bring their children to the conference at no extra cost and childcare will be provided across the conference&#8217;s two days.
