For years, WordCamp Europe has been too big for smaller companies to act as sponsors. With sponsor packages growing each year—to accommodate a better programme for more people—we tried to find a solution for more companies to get involved as our community sponsors. We wanted to give visibility to small businesses, who we feel are the backbone of the WordPress ecosystem.
If you are a company that works with WordPress (and generates a majority of your income from it), and you had a revenue less than 1 million euros in 2016, you are eligible for our small business sponsorship. Take this opportunity to get “one on one” with your audience.
Sponsoring WordCamp Europe is a unique opportunity. It is the only WordCamp in the world that represents multiple countries, and each year we are becoming more international. Speakers, attendees and sponsors will come from all over the world, and sponsorship will give you both access and high visibility.
Small business sponsorship is an exclusive package that we introduced this year. Its goal is to offer visibility to smaller companies that will get their one-day booth for a fraction of other sponsorship packages. If you are a company working with WordPress, with a revenue of less than 1 million euros in 2016 (and generating the majority of your income from it) – this is the right package for you. Small business sponsorship cost is 2500 euros.
What will you get as a Small Business Sponsor?
- a one-day, circular high-table with printed banner on it, within our sponsors area
- furniture, banner print and setup is all handled by the WCEU Sponsors team (so you don’t have to worry about it, just send it on time ;))
- you can bring swag & laptop that fits on high table (no other furniture/space permitted though)
- shared blog post with all Startup sponsors, announcing sponsorship
- 1 free ticket
Although the above listed benefits might prove enough for some, there are some things that can’t be measured. You will get our gratitude as well as the gratitude of WordCamp Europe attendees. You will also have the opportunity to share a global stage, with like-minded people and companies – sharing the same vision and values. And being on that stage will get you in the spotlight of both current and future customers, business partners and potential employees.
How do you become a Small Business Sponsor?
You can get in touch with our Sponsors team by submitting your sponsorship application. In case you have more questions about sponsorship, you can download this brochure, or simply ask a question in comments, or get in touch on our social channels (Facebook and Twitter).
Still undecided? Let us know how we can help. We look forward to seeing you at WordCamp Europe in Paris!
