If we would ask our attendees about the one thing they are all looking forward (besides the talks, of course) most of them would say – the after party. And each year the WordCamp Europe afterparty is the glue that sticks people from all over the world together. They talk, they dance, and they exchange ideas that one day could help build something extraordinary. To make the afterparty an unforgettable experience for everyone, we decided to host it in the Pavillon d’Armenonville, or as they call it “a green haven in Paris”.
Just on the outskirts of Paris in the Bois de Boulogne park, with a view over a lake, the magnificent venue of Pavillon d’Armenonville was first built in the seventeenth century as a modest hunting lodge. Two centuries later it was demolished to make place for we know and see today – a beautiful building that served as a restaurant.

Any chance to attend the after party with a +1 guest or it will be just for the #wceu attendees?
Hi, the after party is reserved to attendees.
Does it involve a meal? Or are we expected to eat dinner before hand?
Hi Joe. There will be small bites available for free, but there will also be food trucks (on the afterparty) where you can buy food – that will cover a wide range of dietary requirements.
Hi, is there a dress code for the afterparty?
You’ll find out pretty soon 🙂 stay tuned!
If there is a dress code for the afterparty can you please let us know asap or no-one will have time to do any shopping #anyexcuse!
Dress code is 1930s Paris, but it is optional.
Are the foodtrucks also available for guests without a ticket? I mean, are they outside, accessible for guests and children without a ticket?
Food trucks will be inside the after party venue and they won’t be accessible from outside, sorry.
