Photo by Florian Ziegler<\/p><\/div>\n<p>What you need to know:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>WordCamp Europe 2016 will be Europe\u2019s largest WordCamp to date, succeeding three equally successful WordCamps in Seville (2015), Sofia (2014) and Leiden (2013).<\/li>\n<li>WordCamp Europe 2015 had 61% of visitors come from Europe (excluding the host country), 28% from the host country and 11% from the rest of the world. Over 2014, the greatest growth was in visitors from around Europe, so WCEU is becoming incredibly diverse.<\/li>\n<li>Attendees in 2015 traveled from 52 countries.<\/li>\n<li>85% of 2015 attendees attended the after-party.<\/li>\n<li>99% of attendees said they\u2019d come back \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>WordPress is a free and open source blogging tool and a content management system (CMS). WordPress is used by 24% of the top 10 million websites online. WordPress is currently the most popular content management system in use on the Internet.<\/p>\n<p>WordCamps are conferences covering everything related to WordPress.
