All you need to know about WordCamp Europe’s largest Contributor Day
Come to WordCamp Europe’s largest Contributor day on June 26th, 2016 and learn all about being involved with the WordPress project! There are already more than 470 people signed up for contributor day, so if you haven’t signed up yet, hurry up! Our venue capacity is 500 people.
- Time/Date: From 9.30 am to 6 pm on Sunday, June 26th, 2016
- Location: University of Vienna (Faculty of Informatics) at Währingerstrasse 29 (public transport) (MAP)
- Important: To join us for contributor day, you need to sign up and bring your laptop!

This is your chance to learn out how to contribute from experienced contributors, hang out with others who love to contribute, and push some of your own contributions — it is really all about contributing!
We’ve organized onboarding workshops and special orientation for new contributors in two separate tracks. This means that some of our most experienced WordPress contributors will be dedicating their day to help new people get started.
Do you wish to contribute and to get involved with the open source WordPress project? Just sign up, pick a team and we’ll get you in touch with an experienced contributor who will introduce you in getting involved. You don’t need to be a coder to help! No matter what your knowledge of WordPress is, there are so many areas to work on, and there will be plenty of people on hand to get you started! There’s even a free lunch and lots of coffee 🙂
